Maribor, Novo mesto, Velenje, Sežana, Nova Gorica and Kranj are places where this year's roadshow events will be, as part of the promotion of products of the Slovene Enterprise Fund for Innovative Young Enterprises. The main promotion event of the three interesting calls will be Forum 100% Start:up, which will be on the 3rd of March in Ljubljana.

If you need a financial incentive to start a business or maybe seed capital to grow it, possibly a convertible loan to expand the team, or have acquired an investment from a private investor and want to double the amount of investment, all this is offered by the Slovene Enterprise Fund together with SID Bank and the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology (MGRT).

All three tenders, P2, SK75 and SI-SK, are already well known, and the suitability of each form of financing depends mainly on the stage of your business. Tenders P2 and SK75 are also subject to a pre-selection procedure, which can provide you with up to 35 or 40 points for application out of 100 in total.

Pre-selection application

Are you at the beginning of your journey? Grab the P2 tender

P2 has traditionally been the start-up incentive, the so-called startup money, which encourages tech-innovative start-ups with growth potential and develops innovative value-added products, processes and services for the broader market that solve customer problems.

P2 brings up to 54.000 euros in subsidies per business. A novelty from last year is the absence of the requirement to prove costs, which makes reporting much easier. You can find all the details of the P2 startup incentive call here, to help you understand what to expect.

Among the successful enterprises that used the P2 incentive in order to further their development are GenePlanet, Visonect, AciesBio, Popcorn, InstaText, and many more.

In the application process, where you can earn up to 100 points, Start: up Slovenia also conducts a pre-selection process with a demo day, which can bring you up to 35 points, and participation in the pre-selection is certainly beneficial for success in the competition.

Validate your idea in the market and accelerates sales growth

If you already have your product developed and are earning the first revenue on the market, SK75, the 75.000 euros of the convertible loan, can help you grow. SK75 is aimed at innovative startups with global growth potential that want to get their ideas out on the market as quickly as possible and accelerate their sales growth.

The Start:up Slovenia also carries out the pre-selection process for the SK75 tender, which can bring you up to 40 out of a total of 100 possible tender points. Prosperous companies that have already been successful in the SK75 tender include Ollo Audio, Beeping, Malinca, VIAR, Fortronik and many more.

Double the investment of a private investor

If you have already acquired a private investor for your company and would like to double that investment, success in the SI-SK tender allows you to double the investment in the amount from 100.000 to 600.000 euros.

There is no pre-selection procedure for the SI-SK tender. Among the successful companies that were the recipients of the convertible loan under the SK200 tender (the precursor of the SI-SK product) in the past are Chipolo, Invoice Exchange, Carlock, Xvida, ModriPlanet and many more.

Don't forget about the content support

Not only money but also rich content support within the Startup Plus Programme is valuable for successful applicants in the mentioned calls. For P2 and SK75 recipients the content support consists primarily of mentoring support from reputable and experienced mentors, which are entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders.

To find out all the details about the tenders, and especially the pre-selection procedure, we invite you to one of the roadshow events we are preparing in Slovenia, or to the central Forum 100% Start: up 2020 event, to be held in Ljubljana.
