Quipnex is developing an application for digital research management.
The key advantage of the Qx application lies in its ability to connect research data – from samples and chemicals to experiments and results – into a clear, traceable, and structured whole. This allows laboratories to move from scattered spreadsheets and notebooks to a unified, user-friendly environment.
Qx is designed in a modular way, enabling research groups to start with basic functionalities (such as sample or reagent tracking) and gradually upgrade the system according to their needs. This allows for step-by-step digitalization and a solution that grows alongside them. In addition to transparency and traceability, Qx also fosters better collaboration, as all team members work with the same up-to-date data, which is also ready for further processing and use with artificial intelligence tools.
The platform is especially valuable in areas where existing solutions have not met researchers' needs – such as chemistry, materials science, and interdisciplinary research. However, Qx also delivers a breakthrough in other research fields thanks to its innovative design, as it not only stores data but also interconnects and organizes it into a meaningful whole.
Its potential has been recognized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, which awarded the company the Gold Award for Best Innovations in the Central Slovenia Region. Today, Qx is already in use by the Jožef Stefan Institute, the National Institute of Chemistry, the University of Ljubljana, and Talum, and is currently in pilot use by research institutes and development companies abroad.
Quipnex’s goal is clear: to save researchers time, reduce errors, and increase efficiency through data automation – so they can focus more energy on new discoveries and the development of breakthrough technologies.
