Based on many years of experience with payment systems and after discussions with business partners, the Lab4Pay team has determined that POS devices do not offer additional services and the introduction of newer payment methods is mainly based on the display of a QR code. Furthermore, the merchant must train the sales staff for such payment methods.

In this area, a fundamental change and adaptation of the payment processing process is required on both the buyer's and the merchant's side. New, additional payment methods represent a cost and an additional waste of time for the merchant if not a problem.

Different methods work in different ways. The merchant has to integrate each system into his checkout, further train the sales staff and mark, which payment methods he accepts. At the same time, there are costs for the infrastructure necessary to operate the system. Currently, the merchant communicates with each payment method provider separately.

Therefore, the Lab4Pay team considers the integration of several payment methods to be the only logical solution, thus simplifying the payment process. It solves these problems with a single software and hardware solution that enables payment applications, transactional business, advertising and retail solutions.
