A year and a half has passed since the first SK investments of the Slovene Enterprise Fund and eight rounds of the Start:up Slovenia competition with P2. Now, the traditional Forum 100 % Start:up on Thursday, 24 March, and a series of roadshow events across Slovenia from 18 to 31 March, will open this year’s spring activities for financing and supporting innovative startup companies. Application deadline for the competition is Tuesday, 5 April!

16:00 – 16:15  /  Mentorship 500 Startups awaits the best Slovenian startup

The Slovenian Startup of the Year 2016 will be announced at the PODIM Conference this year as well. The winner will receive the mentorship of the elite accelerator 500 Startups and directly qualify for the Demo Day of the ABC accelerator. The five finalists are also going to attend the Pioneers Festival at Vienna.

In 15-minute individual meetings, entrepreneurship consultants of the Initiative Start:up Slovenia will be there to answer questions and give advice regarding products P2, SK75 and SK200, and their pre-selection procedures.

A series of “roadshow” events across Slovenia

A series of roadshow events will happen across Slovenia from 17 to 31 March according to the following schedule:

 
At the roadshow events, participants will learn about all programmes and products from the Slovene Enterprise Fund for startups in 2016, namely the grant P2 in the amount of up to 54,000 €, financed from European Cohesion Policy funds (ECP 2014 – 2020), convertible loan SK75 (75,000 €) and public equity investment SK200 (200,000 €).
 

We will also present all conditions for participating in the Start:up Slovenia competition, and where to get all the necessary knowledge, experience and connections with partners and private investors.
