Wholesalers (food and beverage suppliers) can only sell individual items online, but not a bundle of all the items needed to prepare a particular menu, which lowers their created price difference. Caterers (restaurants and hotels) have difficulty creating menus and determining the quantity of items needed to prepare them, resulting in 20% higher costs. 

 

MarginUp is a digital interface that allows the sale of the batch of items needed to prepare a menu. It is an advanced technological solution that, using intelligent algorithms, proposes menus and the quantities of items required for their preparation, increasing and structuring the orders placed by wholesalers. The interface allows the wholesaler to easily integrate with the online shop, which automatically links articles (of which there are more than 10,000) to individual menus using a meta code list. 

 

During the test phase, up to 35% of customers ordered a package instead of individual items. Their orders showed an average 7% higher price difference.
