The Haze Instruments team is developing an innovative filter absorption photometer, an instrument for measuring air pollution. They aim to be the first to enable measurements at high aerosol concentrations and in the presence of highly scattering particles. The instrument will be simple, internet-connected, remotely controllable, and functional in locations with a wide range of conditions. The highly noise-reduced measurement will allow measurements in the linear regime, making the instrument, its use, and maintenance simpler, lower in cost, and longer in lifetime.
