Tomaž is the managing director of the company Inovaco, where he deals with projects and works in various segments of development and preparation of investment documentation. He is also the acting director of Spirit Slovenia, a public agency.

Tomaž is excellent in management, having worked in this field at the companies Mariborska Livarna, Plinko Kostanjevec and UKC Maribor. He is also well versed in the quality control process and has extensive experience in managing and organizing project and investment documentation. In UKC Maribor alone, he has prepared more than 60 investment programs in the period of 9 years while he was employed there.

In 2019, he accepted the invitation and got a job in the Ministry of Defense, where he was responsible for the technical development project for the construction of a military airport. His main focus was on infrastructure projects, technical cooperation and acquisition and implementation of national and international projects. He participated in the strategic planning of an international project on electric and hydrogen vehicles.

His education is a combination of economics, mechanical engineering, management and law.
