Kociper is a senior lecturer of entrepreneurship in tourism and project management in tourism at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Tourism Studies Turistica. She has been involved in project management and entrepreneurship promotion for more than 10 years. At Turistica, Kociper was the head of the cross-border Slo-Hr project Hint-Lab (Development of Tourism Entrepreneurship in Hinterlands) and the Summer School of Family Entrepreneurship in Tourism project.

Among other things, Kociper is involved in advising young entrepreneurs in the development of business ideas and advising family businesses in transferring succession. She is a member of commissions for evaluation of the best business ideas.
