After studying international relations, Horjak went into tourism and organizational waters. In 2001 he took over the company Tao Turizem, and in 2003 became the executive director of the company Liberty International. There he took care of the organization of business, the implementation of financial operations, the preparation of new tourist products and financial reporting to business owners.

Since 2006 he has been co-owner and director of Liberty International, which has grown from two people to 14 full-time employees in four countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro).
