💡 What is the IP Scan Enforcement service and who is it for?

It’s a professional advisory service designed specifically for EU-based SMEs that:

• have experienced infringement of their intellectual property rights,

• are facing accusations of infringing others’ rights,

• or want to minimize the risk of encountering such issues in the future.

The advisory is provided by experienced IP experts, selected by national intellectual property offices—in Slovenia, these are verified experts listed on the website of the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office (UIL-SIPO).

What do you get?

• An in-depth risk analysis and concrete recommendations on how to act in case of infringement (or how to prevent it).

• Non-repayable funding – EUIPO covers 90% of the advisory costs (in Slovenia, this can amount to up to €810 excluding VAT).

How to access the funds?

1. Apply for Voucher 1 under the SME Fund call on the EUIPO website.
   The call is open until 5 December 2025 or until funds are exhausted.

2. Once approved, choose an expert from the list and schedule the IP Scan Enforcement service.

3. After the advisory session is completed, the report is received, and the service is paid, request reimbursement from EUIPO.
