Public cloud has become a fundamental technology for startups, enabling them to scale efficiently, innovate faster, and optimize costs. But how are Slovenian startups using it? What challenges do they face, and what benefits are they seeing?

To better understand the cloud adoption landscape in the startup community, we’re running a short survey with Mainstream. Your input will help identify key challenges, opportunities, and areas where the community can benefit from more education and knowledge-sharing.

As a way to give back and support startups in their cloud journey, the first 5 eligible startups using AWS or Azure cloud will receive a free Well-Architected Review done by Mainstream’s engineers. Supported by Flexera’s Cloudchecker, WAR will assess their cloud environment against the best practices for security, reliability, cost-efficiency, and operational excellence. 

What is the output of the Well-Architected Review?

The result of the Well-Architected Review is a report that includes:

• Concrete recommendations for improving startups’ spending strategy and reducing monthly AWS or Azure costs
• Steps to optimize security, performance, and availability of cloud resources
• Prioritization of all recommendations, helping the team focus on the most impactful improvements
