KIK Štarter Kamnik: new start-up community and co-working space

Day 22. June 2015 posted Stanislava Vabšek

The Kamnik municipality joined the Initiative Start:up Slovenia. Young entrepreneurs will have a place to work in the co-working spaces KIK Štarter, created by a group of young volunteers from Youth centre Kotlovnica. KIK Štarter will collaborate with Technology Park Ljubljana to implement business content and mentoring. The opening of KIK Štarter facilities, which were given to young future entrepreneurs by company Iskra Mehanizmi for a symbolic price, had not only the mayor Marjan Šarc, MP Matej Tonin and deputy mayor Matej Slapar in attendance, but also about 50 successful entrepreneurs of the Kamnik municipality and its surroundings.
