For the second year running, the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) has launched a call for prizes for small and medium-sized enterprises. 

The WIPO Global Awards 2023 are open to SME applicants from all business sectors - creative industries, local and international brands, innovative technology providers and all others. 

An independent jury of eminent experts will select up to seven winners from a shortlist of 20 nominees based on a number of criteria, including successful commercialization of IP and its positive contribution to society. Diversity will also be considered.

Winners will receive a tailored 1:1 mentoring package to support their IP strategies - including funding facilitation, partnership opportunities and promotional support. Winners will receive their awards at a ceremony at WIPO headquarters in Geneva during the WIPO General Assembly in July 2023.

The call is open to interested SMEs from all over the world until 31 March 2023.
