Technology companies, do business also in Canada

24. November 2020 At 14.00

An online event for Slovenian companies that want to find out about opportunities and possible obstacles in doing business in Canada and establish contacts with Canadian partners.

You will learn about:

  • Canadian business ecosystem, tax and accounting legislation.
  • Details of the EU-Canada Trade Agreement - CETA and how it can also help your company increase exports. The topic will be presented in more detail by the President of the Chamber of the European Union in Canada Stephen Klus. The EUCCAN Chamber is an important contact point for European companies already operating in Canada or preparing to enter the Canadian market.
  • How you can make initial contacts with potential business partners in Canada and do successful business with them. This will be addressed by Jose Antonio Santoyo, the director of International Business and Investment at North America’s Largest Chamber of Commerce.
  • Canadian institutions that support entrepreneurship.

We will also hear an example of successful business in Canada, from the executive director of Elan Sports, Primož Plestenjak, who will present his story.

At the event itself, you will be able to actively contact potential business partners and support organizations for entering the Canadian market.
