Lučka Klanšek is a mentor with a rare combination of sharp entrepreneurial insight and deep humanity. She helps startups develop business ideas, craft strategies, find the right market approach, and build meaningful relationships with customers – but her mentorship goes far beyond business models.
She works with founders from a wide range of industries – from food and sustainable products to technology, education, and services. She’s known for taking mentorship beyond Excel sheets and business canvases to the foundational elements that aren’t always measurable: inner clarity, personal integrity, and courage.
Lučka believes that successful businesses aren’t built on tools and analytics alone but also on clarity of purpose, strong values, and staying true to oneself. Often, she helps teams balance their vision, market realities, and personal growth because as she says, entrepreneurship is “a journey of self-discovery.”
What you won’t find on her CV
If she could choose a superpower, it would be: seeing clearly when others doubt themselves.
She often senses what people carry inside – even before they fully see it themselves. That ability allows her to ask the kind of questions that open up space for reflection, transformation, or a new direction. She doesn’t offer quick fixes. Instead, she helps people find solutions that align with who they truly are.
Her path hasn’t been easy. As she puts it:
“My CV lists companies, titles, and awards.
But it doesn’t show the silence after failures, the doubts before brave decisions, or the inner struggle when I had to keep going despite it all.”
When she’s not mentoring, she walks. Literally. Walking the 850 km Camino de Santiago helped her reconnect with herself and the world. Now, she dreams of taking on Japan’s Kumano Kodō trail. Her favorite moments are spent in the silence of nature, in books that blend philosophy, spirituality, and entrepreneurship, and with her granddaughters – who teach her playfulness and unconditional love.
She no longer fears doubt. Today, she knows:
“The solution comes if we don’t stand in its way.
And maturity means being able to wait – without losing faith in yourself.”
Lučka is patient – but when it comes to core values like honesty, respect, and staying true to oneself, she makes no compromises: “I can’t stand having to silence myself to please others.”
