New apps are coming out every second on all sorts of platforms. However, there is just one problem. Most fail and only some survive. Darwin's theory of adaptability also works in the field of entrepreneurship. Only apps that are made according to their users survive.

To develop the best digital products, it is key that their creators understand the meaning of good User experience. A good user experience increases sales, adds value, lowers costs, and raises the reputation of a product/brand. In other words, creators have to delve into the user. Who is he? What does he want and need? How does he act in different situations? Why does he behave that way? What inspires him and what doesn't he like?

UX refers to the field of User Experience, and it is one of the things that give your app or product added value. UX focuses on a person's emotions, experiences, and attitudes about using a particular product, system or service. It includes the practical, experiential, affective, meaningful and valuable aspects of human–computer interaction and product ownership.

Knowing this field is key for the success of your product on the market. It saves you a lot of disappointment, anger, and money, so we invited Primož Škerget from D•Labs, who will host a very practical workshop for you.

He will teach you:

  • how to do user research,
  • how to define problems and set priorities,
  • different methods of prototyping,
  • how to make a quick usability test,
  • how to make a metrics plan, and
  • how to create a feedback loop.

Who is Primož Škerget?

He is a designer at D·Labs, a Slovenia-based team of internet veterans, product experts, and devoted agile developers. Over the years, they have helped their clients grow their business by building them successful internet products. At D·Labs they are heavily focused on users, passionately engaged within the development process, but also cold and analytical when it’s time to check the ROI. With new clients, they usually start with a small (but scalable) project, observe the results and then quickly scale the successful parts of the product.
